First released in September 1982, Happy Families was the debut album from UK synth pop duo Blancmange. This new edition features restored artwork, and a new 2026 vinyl cut, pressed on clear orange vinyl.

The single ‘Living on the Ceiling’ became the duo’s biggest track to date reaching number 7 on the UK charts, alongside singles ‘Feel Me’ and ‘Waves’. The album stayed in the UK charts for 30 weeks.

“Happy Families is brimming with energy and hooks; a fine record featuring razor-sharp production, whose impressiveness only improves with age.” Classic Pop
